I always enjoy the Blair. The only draw back was the commercials played twice which made the movie to actually start later. If you fixed that all would be great. This is clean, well maintained and the staff is always so nice. Keep up the good work.
And being in a small town, the ticket prices are only $5 (or $8.00 for 3D movies). Popcorn and drinks won't break your budget, either.
Blair is a renovated theater which was built in the 1920s I think. Inside it's all modern but maintains a lot of its historic appeal.
New to the theater are carpeting, fabric seats with cupholders, and of course the movie and sound system.
Has been very awesome to see the transformation over the years of this building since I was young. Have enjoyed the few times I managed to catch a flick while I was home.
This is worth the trip to Belleville!
Wow, you'd never think that a little town of maybe 2,000 people would have a high-tech DIGITAL theater which is also equipped with the new digital 3-D technology! There's no other theatre within about 100 miles with digital, let alone 3-D!
